Defence’s contract with Spain’s Navantia S.A. has reached a major milestone with Ship Acceptance of the Royal Australian Navy’s First Supply-class vessel, NUSHIP Supply. Minister for Defence, Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds CSC was pleased to announce the formal acceptance of the Auxiliary Oilier Replenishment (AOR) ship, NUSHIP Supply from Spanish shipbuilder, Navantia S.A.

AORSPO Enterprise Achieves ISO Certification for Asset Management

Rear Admiral Wendy Malcolm, CSM, RAN, Head of Maritime Systems, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), Department of Defence presented the AORSPO Enterprise with ISO 55001 Asset Management Certification on Wednesday, 18 November 2020 during a Clear Lower Deck at the Garden Island Defence Precinct, Sydney. The AORSPO Enterprise is the first SPO to achieve this certification.
